Meet the Hosts

Brandon Brown

I'm your host Brandon Brown, retired head football coach and athletic director.  I have coached in Azle, Fort Worth ISD, Lone Oak, Jacksboro, Clifton, and Schulenburg.  13 of those 28 years were as an AD/head football coach.  My wife, Dee, and I have 3 kids.  Joshua, is married and coaches in Salado. Cason, is married and a firefighter in San Marcos.  And Isabella, she goes to Fredericksburg high school.

Keith Wright

Coach Wright was my co-host for our very first episode in Fredericksburg.  He is a retired head football coach and AD and won a state championship with Farmersville in 2007.  He also spent several years in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.

Doug Shanafelt

Doug was my co-host for episodes 2 and 3. Doug is a retired football and baseball coach living in Valley Mills.  He won the state championship for Valley Mills in baseball in 2022.

Mike Fuller

Coach Fuller was my co-host for episodes 6 and 7.  He was a retired head football coach and AD but got back in and is now the head football coach at Grapevine Faith Christian School.

Bob Cervetto

Coach Cervetto was co-host for episode 8.  He is a retired AD and head football coach from Dublin where the football field and stadium are named after him.

Chris Freytag

Coach Freytag was co-host for episode 15.  He is a retired AD and head football coach from Flatonia and currently works as a sales manager for Beynon/Tarkett Sports installing sports surfaces.

Joel Fuller

Coach Fuller was co-host for episode 17.  He is a retired football coach from the Fort Worth area and currently does guided tours in the Stockyards in Fort Worth.  Do not go up against him in Trivial Pursuit!
